For over 12 years, the NESCAFĂ Plan has been transforming the lives of Filipino coffee farmers, but truly appreciating its impact required visiting a farm firsthand. When COVID-19 Pandemic lockdowns in 2021 made that impossible, we found a way to bring the farm experience to the people.
Using Augmented Reality (AR), we created the NESCAFĂ fARm Filter, an interactive Instagram and Facebook experience that immersed users in an interactive tour of three NESCAFĂ coffee farm scenarios. With simple gestures, users could unlock surprise animations and discover how their daily cup of NESCAFĂ helps sustain Filipino farmers.
The campaign exceeded expectations, reaching 13 million people, driving a 38.8% market share increase, and boosting NESCAFĂâs brand perception as a champion of Filipino coffee farmers by 67%âall with just a simple AR filter.
